“Mouse Trap”

LightGard “Mouse Trap” Used to secure device with up to 3/16″ (5mm) Cable. (Not for Wireless computer Mouse and not used to catch an actual mouse!) Note: The “Mouse Trap” was the first of these “Traps” that we designed and patented. Colleges at the time were having to issue and retrieve the wired computer mice and wanted a way to keep them from having to continuingly issue and retrieve them to keep them from being stolen. We sold many thousands of them before the wireless computer mouse was invented. Later we were asked to make some traps that were a little larger to keep computer cables and AC Power Strips from being stolen. We designed them and named them after larger and larger animals. Thus the “Rat”, “Squirrel”, and “Cat” traps. We believe that we have sold about 500,000 “Traps”.
